The core academic classes (English and French humanities, mathematics, and science) are taught in either French or English, depending on each student’s individual proficiency in French. Upon enrolling at RISE, students are placed in one of two groups which determines the amount of French used in their core classes.
- 50% of core classes in French or
- 20% of core classes in French
All core academics follow the American Common Core Curriculum and the French National Curriculum. However, the English National Curriculum is also integrated within core subjects, leaving RISE students prepared for success in an American high school, British secondary school or a French lycée.
